About Wamego Housing Authority

The Wamego Housing Authority operates and maintains one housing project, Northview- built in 1972 with federal funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Located at 1201 Chrysler Drive, the project includes four duplexes and six four-plexes, totaling 32 dwelling units, plus a community building. Two units are 2-bedroom, eighteen are 1-bedroom, and twelve are efficiency apartments. Potential residents must be income/need qualified by the Authority, following Federal and State requirements. The Wamego Housing Authority is appointed by the Wamego City Commission. The City owns the Northview property.
